South India Food Recipes: Arai Keerai Poriyal

Arai Keerai – 1 cup (Washed and chopped)

Small Onion – 15 nos (peeled and chopped)

Inexperienced chillies – 2nos (Chopped)

Dry chillies – 2 nos (Deseeded and chopped)

Mustard seed – 1 tsp

Urad dal – 2 tsp 

Channa dal – 2 tsp

Coconut – 2 tbs (shreded)

Salt – to style

Oil as you want


                       Small onion only  provides good style to this recipe .

                In a pan warmth oil and add mustard seed , urad dal , channa dal. 

                      Once they begin to splutter add chopped onion and 

                                       dry and  inexperienced chillies. 

                     Saute until the onion comes pink in color and

                             then add the chopped araikeerai. 

                           Decelerate the fireplace into medium flame 

                      Saute properly and permit to cook dinner for five to eight minutes. 

                                       Do not permit to overcook , 

                            as a result of it could free its inexperienced color and 

                               too mushy  isn’t in good style. 

                            Lastly add the shreded coconut and salt. 

                                       Stir properly and serve sizzling…
