Nivedhanam: Carrot Almond Laddu–Diwali Sweets

Laddu – this phrase makes lots of people drool… For my daughter it pertains to energy and energy.. All because of the Chhota Bheem cartoon she loves the place laddu is an emblem for energy.. And historically laddu is made by frying gram flour and dipping them in sugar syrup.. Immediately we’re going to see a laddu, a recipe I obtained from Priya’s house which requires no frying..




Carrot – half cup (grated finely)
Almond meal – 1/four cup
Paneer – 1/four cup (grated finely)
Milk Powder – 2 desk spoons
Ghee – 1 desk spoon
Cardamom Powder – half tea spoon
Sugar – half cup
Raisins / Almond flakes – a number of for garnish



modus operandi

Warmth ghee in a heavy bottomed pan and add the carrots
Saute for a couple of minutes till the uncooked odor of the carrots goes away
Add the sugar, paneer, milk powder and cook dinner on excessive flame till the combination thickens
Add raisins
Add the almond meal, cardamom powder and cook dinner for a number of extra minutes till it get off the underside of the vessel
Take away from warmth
Make small laddus (balls)
You’ll be able to roll them on almond flakes and serve!!
